Think about the NAME.

Taboo: n. a strong social prohibition (or ban) relating to any area of human activity or social custom declared as sacred and forbidden; breaking of the taboo is usually considered objectionable or abhorrent by society.

The way I see it, the way America is progressing, there won't be any taboo's left. America slowly but surely is growing more and more liberal day by day. I was watching Real World Denver earlier...and EVERYBODY was having sex with EVERYBODY! Whatever happened to waiting for the special one? Call me old fashioned, but I'd like to know the person a little better before I let him rock my world if you know what I mean.

It could possibly be the advent of worldwide use of contraceptives that makes promiscuous sex so easy. Perfect example....the introduction of the FREE (that's right folks, FREE) NYC condom. Here is NY saying..."go out and have sex...do it safely...but go out and have yourself one heck of a time!!" *slaps on the back*
Don't get me wrong, I'm always down for a good romp...but maybe not with Mr.1st date.
I do think it is very cool that the city is dishing out the free rubbers. It sends out a positive message to people; that sex is natural and apart of life...and why shouldn;t you indulge? Just be safe while your at it...god forbid the wicked STD will rear its ugly head.

Speaking of the loss of a taboo...nudity is a pretty up and coming trend too. An American artist named Spencer Tunick takes photos of massive numbers of nude people in pose. He has been at it since 2003 and has photographed people everywhere, form Australia to Germany, to South America. It is so very beautiful. It's a celebration of the human body for its nature-like perfection. His most recent project was in Mexico, where 18,000 people bared it all for Spence (if that aint pimpin...) The church opposes it of course. But oh well...we were born naked...and if we want to be naked again, then we will. BOO-YAH. That's what I call freedom!!
I've signed myself up for updates on his next photo projects.

...and I"M GRADUATING IN LESS THAN A MONTH!!! =(
